Cycling Goa organised the second race of the Goa Time Trial 2020 Championship on Sunday, the 13th of December 2020, at Chandreshwar, Quepem. The 4.04 km long route with 255 mts elevation to the top of the highest mountain in Goa had over 50 cyclist participating on Road, Hybrid and MTB cycles. The flawlessly oragnised event was supported by the Xaxti Riders.
The first race was held on Sunday, the 6th of December 2020, at Bambolim.
A Time Trial (TT) is a bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock. TTs are also referred to as “the race of truth”, as winning depends only on each cyclist’s strength and endurance. The Goa TT was Goa’s first Time Trial Championship, consisting of 2 races to decide Goa’s fastest male and female cyclists.
